Quiche forever

Quiche is one of the first meals I mastered when I moved to France. Quickly enough, it became one of my favorite French meals ever. I haven´t prepared it for my Slovak family until recently and I knew well why: clearly, they´ve all fallen in love with it and now I have to bake it at least once a week 🙂
I needed:
* 250g of all-purpose flour
* 125g of butter
* 1 egg
* 2 teaspoons of baking powder
* a small glass of water
* salt

I decided to view this as a good workout, and I used only a spoon and my own muscles to prepare the dough, but if you´re not feeling up to it, you can use an eggbeater as well 🙂

I put the dough into a round baking form and baked it for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven (200 degrees).
In the meantime, I chopped the bacon and the onions, and I roasted them in a pan for a few minutes.
I put the roasted bacond and onions on the dough, added the mixture of one egg, 10cl of creme and 10cl of milk. I topped it off with the grated cheese, and baked it all for another 40 minutes.

Bon appétit!
