Moving in

(Boxes, boxes, boxes….everywhere!)
I’m so sorry for being MIA and unable to respond to all your sweet and lovely comments for the past few days! I’m so grateful that you, my readers, are so supportive, and you make me want to work even harder!
Then again, moving in is never an easy thing to do, and this is what my last weekend was all about: piling up the boxes, moving the boxes, emptying the boxes, and still, more boxes were coming in….eww! Followed the very enjoyable activity of frantic searching for indispensable stuff (like plates, glasses and winter clothes), building the furniture and moving it around, which has pretty much ruined my manicure and my nerves. I have to confess, I really hate moving, especially the packing and unpacking part. And it’s quite a funny thing coming from me, because in the past 5 years I lived in 4 different countries and I moved at least a dozen times…Hopefully, I´m done with hopping around Europe for a few years!

But, aside from all these annoying activities, I simply couldn’t be happier with our new apartment in Graz! It’s twice as big as the last one in Paris, and I’m already looking forward to properly decorating it (especially with the upcoming Christmas in mind). I´ll finally have enough space for my office, and for the first time we’ll be able to have a proper guest room. So much exciting stuff!
All in all, there’s a huge amount of work waiting for me but I´m sure I´ll love every single minute of it!

Awww, I hope things get back to normal for you soon! I equate packing and unpacking with folding and putting away laundry. And that's my least favorite chore ever. lol However… congrats on the move!! I'm glad you like your new place!
