I love Nutella. I have to have it every morning with my coffee and brioche, otherwise my brain is not working properly. And frankly, who could blame me? And if there´s something I love even more than my chocolate spread breakfast, it´s experimenting with Nutella in the kitchen (as seen here). I bought a cookbook entirely dedicated to this delicious sweet treat, and I love flipping through it and getting inspired. I whipped up these cute little tartelettes on Sunday, and they were definitely a smashing success. You surely can´t do better than Nutella and bananas (French already know that, they and their famous crêpes)!
So what do you need to prepare this delicious dessert?
For the batter:
180g of butter
2 pinches of salt
1 spoonful of sugar
2 egg yolks
5cl of milk (at ambient temperature)
255g of all-purpose flour
For the filling:
200g of Nutella
Mix melted butter, salt, sugar, egg yolks and milk until you get a uniform mixture. Add flour and blend all perfectly. Refrigirate the batter for one hour.
Preheat your oven at 200°C. Roll the batter flat and cut out circles that are slightly bigger than your tartelette moulds. Lay the batter circles in your moulds, slightly pierce them with a fork and bake them for 10 minutes.
After ten minutes, spread one spoonful of Nutella on every tartelette, superpose with banana circles and sprinkle with sliced almonds. Bake for another 10 minutes.
Voilà! Easy and delicious!
Bon appétit 🙂
