Beauty: Charcoal eyes

If there’s one thing that caught my eye during this year’s MTV Movie Awards, it was Leighton Meester’s radiant and flawless makeup. She looked nothing short of perfect: very fresh and modern despite the fact that she rocked an oh-so-classic black eyeliner-nude lips combo. It’s a great proof that the classics never go out of style!
Here comes a little tutorial on how to recreate this amazing look:

First of all, prep your skin with a great moisturizer. Unify your complexion with a sheer pressed foundation (1) and add a bit of color to your cheeks with a peachy blush (2). Once your skin is flawless, concentrate on your eyes. Rim them completely with a black eyeliner (3, this Chanel is one of the best), then smudge the lines with a charcoal grey eyeshadow, intensifying it on the outer edges (4). To add a bit of shine to your regard, dab a golden shimmery eyeshadow (5) to the inner corners of your eyes. Add several coats of mascara (6) to increase the depth and finish the look with a swipe of peachy gold shimmery gloss (7).
